Admission
The ideal age for starting in LKG is 3½ - 4½ years. Students of this age are interviewed for intelligence and elementary literacy of a child in his fifth year. A judgment is made by the School authorities on the likelihood of the child persevering in the School and profiting from it. Parents are interviewed for their understanding of the type of education offered and their ability to co-operate in it.
- 1. The management reserves to itself the right of admission.
- 2. 70% of the seats are reserved for the Tata Steel Limited and the remaining 30% of the seats are for others.
- 3. Admission is open to boys and girls on the basis of merit and availability of seats.
- 4. False declaration of the student’s age is a disqualifying factor and a subsequent discovery by theschool authorities of such declarations are sufficient ground for dismissal of the student.
- 5. Offering Capitation Fee or Donation of any kind or pressurizing the administration through recommendations will automatically debar the candidate from admission.
- 6. A child seeking admission in Loyola for standard I and above should furnish a transfer certificate from the previously attended school only after passing the placement test of a particular class.
- 7. The school issuing such Transfer Certificate should have recognition by the Government.
- 8. Those seeking admission should submit the required testimonials as mentioned in the admission form.
- 9. THE DATE OF BIRTH recorded at the time of admission will not be changed.
- 1. One calendar months’ notice will have to be given for the withdrawal of the child from the school. However, full fees for the quarter will be charged.
- 2. All dues must be cleared and library books, if any or school property items must be returned before the child is withdrawn
